Bruised Bananas

Beskrivelse

Bruised Bananas feminized by DNA Genetics

Bruised Bananas comes from Purple Chocolope and Honey Banana. DNA Genetics presents this feminized photoperiod strain as a balanced indica-sativa hybrid. Older catalogues also list the singular name Bruised Banana.

The plants develop strong lateral branches and may stretch noticeably during the first weeks of flowering. Indoors, they usually remain manageable at approximately 90-150 cm, while outdoor plants may reach around 180-210 cm. LST, moderate pruning, or a ScrOG can help distribute the canopy evenly.

Flowering takes 8-10 weeks. DNA Genetics lists approximately 425-595 g/m² indoors and around 800-900 g per plant outdoors. The flowers become dense and resinous, with some plants developing darker or purple tones as they mature. Outdoor harvest normally falls in early October.

Ripe banana and honey lead the aroma, followed by chocolate and coffee. Citrus, earthy nuances, and a light skunk note add depth to the sweeter profile. DNA Genetics identifies terpinolene, ocimene, and myrcene as its main terpenes.
