According to the breeder, it is built from a double K.C. 2 base combined with K.C. 33 and an Afghani like line. Within the catalogue, Mind Bender therefore stands less for modern trend presentation and more for a functionally structured cultivar with traditional breeding logic and a recognisable connection to older broad leaf indica stock.

In growth, Mind Bender is described as compact, bushy, and relatively easy to manage. KC Brains refers to a typically indica style structure with broad dark green leaves that may develop reddish tones during flowering.
