Honey Bear by Humboldt Seed Company

Honey Bear was born from Humboldt Seed Company’s rosin work, but it still carries a strong flower side. This cultivar is not only interesting as a washer. It builds upright, throws long frosty colas, keeps leaf load low and shows huge bracts across the flower set.

Honey Banana UKC S1 × Papaya Tallyman × Honey Bear forms the official parental foundation. HSC describes a sativa-dominant line with long frosty colas, unusually large bracts, very little foliage, 45 to 50 days of flowering and a profile of papaya, banana, honeycomb and a light UK Cheese funk.

The short calendar makes the cultivar sharper than its soft name suggests. At 45 to 50 days of flowering, with an outdoor window from September 15 to September 30, Honey Bear sits very early in the field. For a sativa dominant line with large plants, that timing matters because length, surface and maturity do not have to push deep into fall.

The plant grows upright and long without carrying heavy leaf load. That low leaf presence makes the colas stand out and gives the resin surface room to show. HSC marks greenhouse and outdoor performance as strong, with very high hash production, which fits the bright sandy trichome side of the line.

Papaya, banana and honey do not land here as simple sweetness. They read more like a tropical resin line with a light UK Cheese edge in the back. The listed 25 percent THC and washer return of up to 3 percent remain cultivar data only. Honey Bear carries its value through early timing, huge bracts, low leaf mass and resin structure that does not need the name explained.
