Green Poison by Sweet Seeds

Green Poison is defined above all by speed and flower mass. This cultivar is not built around novelty traits, but around a quick photoperiod run with vigorous growth, early bud formation, and a plant body that pushes its energy into productive zones very fast.

In growth, it develops a stable main stem and long flexible side branches that give the plant more reach without making the frame feel unruly. The canopy does not collapse into a small tight shape, but spreads its later weight across several supporting points. That is why Green Poison reads less like a compressed fast finisher and more like a quick, high yielding hybrid with a capable framework.

Sweet Seeds lists Green Poison as a hybrid with 70 percent indica and 30 percent sativa. Flowering takes around seven weeks. The breeder reports 500 to 650 g per m² indoors and 500 to 700 g per plant outdoors. THC reaches 20 percent, while CBD is approximately 0.9 percent. The large flowers gain mass quickly and develop a substantial resin layer.

The aroma combines pronounced sweetness with fruity and spicy notes. Arugula and a distinct Skunk background add a sharper contour and prevent the profile from becoming simply sweet.

In the finished picture, Green Poison shows very clearly what it was built for: quick completion, heavy flower weight, and a sweet fruity expression carried by a more classic base. That combination also explains why the cultivar makes particular sense where a short flowering period and earlier finish matter more than anything decorative.

Sweet Seeds documents a total of 22 awards for Green Poison. These include first prizes for Best Indica at the Cannabis Canarias Cup in 2011 and 2012, Outdoor at the VIII Copa Mendoza in 2017, Extraction at Festival 1422 in 2018 and Overall Evaluation at the XXII Copa de la Marihuana in 2019.
