Frosty Gelato by Growers Choice

Frosty Gelato does not make its impression through loudness, but through finish. It is a hybrid that pushes early toward density and resin and builds its presence from exactly that. Rather than defining itself through height or wild stretch, it works more through a compact and clean run with visible substance on the flowers.

The background of Brain Damage x Gelato 41 explains well why it does not look like a standard Gelato line. Gelato 41 brings in the creamier and more modern side, while Brain Damage adds more pressure to the structure. That keeps the strain from feeling like a soft dessert release and gives it more weight and more traction overall.

With a flowering time of 9 weeks, the window remains easy to plan. The indoor height of about 130 to 160 cm fits this well, as Frosty Gelato is not a very small strain for the tightest spaces. It makes its impression where it can build a dense canopy and a strong finish within a manageable time frame.

Yield is also clearly part of its profile. At 650 to 750 g/m² indoors, it sits in a productive range and shows how a medium to larger frame can work together with density and resin coverage. This makes it interesting in the setup, because it is not carried by the Gelato name alone, but also brings enough substance.

Frosty Gelato therefore fits best in runs where a short cycle, a dense finish, and a more modern Gelato line with a bit more pressure are wanted together. Its real value lies in the way it stays compact and still ends with real substance.
