Genetics: NYCZ x Kimchi, two signature PCG lines

Shobu is born from the cross between NYCZ and Kimchi, both selections developed by Purple City Genetics. NYCZ is the result of combining Original Zkittlez with Canal Street Runtz, uniting the sweet profile and terpenes of the Z lineage with the genetic potency of Runtz. Kimchi, another internal PCG line, complements and rounds out the variety’s character. The cross results in a feminized with a solid genetic identity, clearly marked by the imprint of the Z lineage.

Cultivation: 8-week flowering and purple-expressing flowers

Indoors, Shobu completes its flowering in 8 weeks, an efficient cycle well-suited to the indica nature of the variety. One of its most striking features is the chromatic expression during maturation: the flowers tend to develop purple tones that notably elevate their visual appeal. PCG has built the Akira collection precisely around bag appeal and terpene quality, and Shobu clearly responds to that philosophy.
