Orient Express

Beskrivelse

Orient Express by ACE Seeds

Orient Express by ACE Seeds is a feminized variety for growers looking for an early finishing, compact, yet characterful hybrid line with an Asian foundation. Within the ACE catalogue, it holds a distinctive place because it combines the aromatic Vietnam Black with the compact China Yunnan indica, resulting in a variety that brings together good yields, manageable structure, and a unique organic profile in a relatively fast flowering format.

In cultivation, Orient Express shows a compact to medium sized, bushy, and well branched plant development. This structure is exactly what makes it especially suitable for indoor setups where controllable growth, good canopy use, and practical manageability matter more than extreme height or tropical stretch. Despite its more compact form, the line remains productive and carries a stable, balanced overall structure.

With a flowering time of around 8 to 10 weeks, Orient Express belongs to the earlier finishing feminized lines in the ACE range. Yield is listed as high. The stated THC level is around 16 percent, CBD around 0.15 percent, and CBG essentially 0. The variety is recommended for latitudes from 0º to 45º and shows average resistance against spider mites and powdery mildew. It is especially well suited to indoor cultivation, where it benefits from warm conditions during growth and a cooler finish in late flowering.

One of the defining traits of Orient Express is its strongly organic and nature driven profile. It is described with a combination of earthy, floral, and forest-like notes that evoke damp vegetation, rainforest atmosphere, and dense organic depth. It is precisely this fusion of compact structure and unusually atmospheric aroma that makes the line especially distinctive within the ACE catalogue.

The terpene profile is equally individual. High levels of beta-myrcene and alpha-pinene stand in the foreground, supported by beta-pinene, p-cymene, camphene, and smaller amounts of isopulegol, linalool, and terpinolene. In the sesquiterpene fraction, nerolidol dominates, accompanied by beta-caryophyllene, bisabolol, and smaller amounts of alpha-humulene and guaiol. Combined with its warm, clean, and approachable overall effect, this creates a variety defined more by balance, aroma, and practical usability than by extreme intensity.
