Skunk #1

Beskrivelse

Skunk #1 by Barney’s Farm

Skunk #1 does not rely on a modern hype name, but on a line that has held its place for years through structure and recognisability. The genetics of Afghan, Acapulco Gold, and Colombian Gold do not create a vague hybrid concept, but a cultivar with a strong central frame, clear side branching, and a very classic overall identity.

The plant body stays in the medium range while feeling stable and load bearing. A firm main stem and well distributed lateral branches create a structure that is neither squat and blocky nor loose and overstretched. That is exactly what makes Skunk #1 easy to understand: not a novelty shape, but a hybrid with a clean and dependable architecture.

The flowering cycle sits in a range that suits the strain well. At around 65 to 75 days, there is enough time for the plant to build its dense, compact flowers properly without slipping into an unnecessarily long run. Indoors, heights are usually placed around 120 to 150 cm, with yields up to roughly 500 g/m². That is enough to read Skunk #1 not only as a classic, but as a genuinely productive line.

The flower set follows exactly the direction the name suggests. The buds tend to form large, dense, resin rich clusters with a heavier rather than airy expression. Because of that, the strain does not feel playful or brightly modern, but compact, substantial, and very clear in its identity.

The profile also stays unmistakable. Earth, citrus, and the typical skunky core do not sit apart, but lock together cleanly. That is what still gives the strain its shape today: not a polished fruit title, but a robust hybrid with a distinct and classic signature.
