Vanilla Créme Pie

Beskrivning

Vanilla Créme Pie by Humboldt Seed Company

Vanilla Créme Pie does not belong to the soft dessert corner, even though the name could pull it that way. The cultivar was selected during the 2019 Collaborative Phenotype Mega Hunt at Aloha Humboldt Farms, and it reads more like a creamy OG selection than a plain vanilla line.

The plant stands upright and vigorous, with moderate stretch during flower. That structure matters because Vanilla Créme Pie is not built around wild variation. The line stays relatively tight, but still has enough movement for the flowers to form with shape rather than simple compression.

Emerald Fire OG × Ghost of Von Humboldt OG gives the cultivar its drier base. Emerald Fire OG brings fire, earth and OG edge, while Ghost of Von Humboldt adds weight, resin and older Humboldt pressure underneath. The creamy side does not sit on a light base. It sits on serious OG material.

Flowering runs 65 days, with outdoor maturity around October 1 to October 15. That is a steady mid fall slot for a cultivar meant to finish its trichome surface and dense flower body properly. Minor variation also makes the line easier to read than many loose dessert crosses.

Vanilla pastry, Boston creme and sweet fuel do not sit smoothly on top of each other here. The sweet side is broken by OG earth, fuel edge and Ghost depth. That is where this cultivar gets its strength: Aloha hunt selection, upright plant body, dense trichomes and a dessert side that does not feel softened down.
