Alchimia is happy to present Shangrila by Jinxproof Genetics, a strain also known as Shangri-la. It is the cross between Fudo Myo-o and the powerful 9 Pound Hammer. This strain is now available in our regular cannabis seeds catalogue.

Jinxproof seedbank obtained Fudo Myo-o seeds from a friend. This Japanese genetics impressed the breeders, who used it to develop Shangrila.

Shangri-La is an imaginary place described by James Hilton in his novel Lost Horizon from 1933. Similarly, Shangrila cannabis will take you on a journey to a place of peace and tranquillity, free from pain, stress and sleeplessness.

Shangrila presents two main phenotypes, one with a shorter structure and a more Indica appearance, with very dense resin coated flowers and purple leaves. The second phenotype reacts earlier to photoperiod changes and is a more vigorous plant.

Shangrila produces pineapple-shaped flowers with beautiful purple pistils. Jinxproof Genetics advises apical pruning in order to obtain an attractive shrub shape.
