Pie Piss

Pie Piss by Cookies Seed Bank

Pie Piss is not the kind of line that can be reduced to one easy keyword. What makes it more interesting is the point where two very different directions are brought together: Cat Piss and Moonbow on one side, Cherry Pie and Planet Purple on the other.

The cross is listed as (San Diego Cat Piss x Moonbow) x (Cherry Pie x Planet Purple). The most notable part of that structure is the repeated Moonbow presence on both sides of the lineage. Because of that, the variety keeps a recognisable internal thread instead of reading like a random multi-hybrid built only from attention grabbing names.

Flowering time is usually placed at around 8 to 9 weeks. Published indoor figures most often sit near 400 to 450 g/m², while outdoor plants are generally listed at roughly 450 to 500 g per plant. Plant height is commonly described in the range of about 90 to 130 cm, so the line does not tend to run especially low or overly wide.

Because of that background, Pie Piss can be genuinely interesting for selection work. The line carries enough range to show variation without turning shapeless, and when several plants are run side by side, differences in expression can appear while the repeated Moonbow base still gives the variety some cohesion.

So rather than framing it through rarity or historical language, Pie Piss is easier to understand through its structure: a hybrid built from several very marked sources, yet still held together by a recognisable line. That is what gives it more identity than many modern names that end up sounding interchangeable.
