Orange Creampop by Humboldt Seed Company

Orange Creampop may sound like candy shelf naming at first, but inside the Humboldt Seed Company range it sits on a much more serious research and development path. The cultivar was not simply named after orange and cream. It was worked until that balance became readable in the plant itself.

Hella Jelly x Orange Creamsicle Bx3 is the center of the line. Hella Jelly brings bright Jelly fruit, early timing and fast California movement, while Orange Creamsicle Bx3 adds creamy citrus depth and backcross pressure underneath. That keeps Orange Creampop fruit forward without making it loose or thin.

The first unstabilized Jelly and Orange Creamsicle cross was made in 2020, when Hella Jelly was still called Jelly Rancher. Pheno work with Burr’s Place in Calaveras followed through 2021 and 2022. Later work with Casa Flor added a productive washer selection into the final step, making the cultivar more about resin surface and processing value than dessert language alone.

At 50 to 55 days of flowering, with an outdoor window from September 20 to October 5, Orange Creampop holds an early field position. The plant is sativa dominant, but cola type flower formation and heavy trichome cover give it enough substance to avoid reading only as bright fruit.

Orange cream popsicle, sweet orange and creamy skunky undertones define the aromatic profile. The green, heavily frosted spear-shaped flowers can develop purple tones during cooler nights. With 30 to 35 percent THC and an early outdoor window from September 20 to October 5, Orange Creampop combines its clear citrus-and-cream character with heavy resin production.
