Moby Dick by Barney’s Farm

Moby Dick is not a cultivar for small and quiet runs, but a line with a very clear production role. The combination of White Widow and Haze already pushes it toward length, momentum in growth, and serious output rather than compact restraint.

In practical terms, this reads like a plant that needs room and was never meant for micro scale setups. The frame develops in a more open, sativa leaning way without drifting into something loose or shapeless. That is exactly what makes Moby Dick interesting. It is not about chaotic stretch, but about a variety that ties height and yield together in a fairly deliberate way.

With a flowering window of roughly nine to ten weeks, it stays comparatively manageable for this type of line. That matters in a Haze led hybrid, because the appeal does not sit in height alone, but in the combination of a substantial run and a very strong production side. The plant is not meant merely to grow big, but to finish with corresponding weight.

The profile also stays easy to read. Citrus, Haze, spice, pine, and a slightly vanilla toned side give it enough tension. Because of that, Moby Dick does not come across like an old yield name with no identity, but as a productive sativa hybrid with its own shape.

Anyone looking at Barney’s Farm for a variety defined less by compactness and more by height, forward growth, and heavy final output will understand Moby Dick through exactly that lens. It sits firmly in the category of larger framed, high yielding classics with a brighter Haze edge and a steadier White Widow base underneath.
