Gelato

Beskrivning

Gelato by Spliff Seeds

Gelato by Spliff Seeds is Spliff Seeds’ feminized take on the Sunset Sherbert x Thin Mint Cookies line. The breeder describes working from USA clones, which gives the variety a more modern Cookie based position than the older Amsterdam classics in the catalogue.

The plant starts low and controlled before gaining more body later in flowering. Spliff Seeds lists indoor height at 1.20 to 1.50 m and outdoor height at 1.50 to 2.00 m. Its stretch is not wild, but the variety can roughly double in size as the flower phase develops.

The strongest visual trait is the resin surface. Gelato forms compact, dense flowers with a heavy coating across buds and leaves, giving the plant a tighter and heavier look than the Haze leaning Spliff Seeds lines. Its frame stays practical, but the flower build carries a clearly modern hybrid character.

The flowering time is listed at 8 to 9 weeks, with October given for outdoor harvest. Indoor yield sits at 350 to 450 g/m². Those figures place the variety in a steady production frame, while the real identity comes from its compact height, dense flower set and strong surface expression.

The profile of Gelato moves through sweet cream, fruit, vanilla, mint and a light gassy edge. Spliff Seeds names limonene, humulene and caryophyllene as key terpenes. On a Cannoptikum product page, this makes Gelato a feminized Spliff Seeds line with Cookie structure, Sherbert sweetness and a compact modern hybrid shape.
