Blumat Distribution Dripper for additional watering points around the root zone
The Blumat Distribution Dripper, single adds extra watering points to a Tropf-Blumat or Tropf-Blumat Maxi. This allows water to be spread more evenly across larger containers and wider root zones. Supplied as an individual component, it is suitable for extending an existing Tropf-Blumat irrigation system or replacing a distribution dripper when required.
Up to five drip points from one Tropf-Blumat
Up to five distribution drippers can be connected to one Tropf-Blumat or Tropf-Blumat Maxi. Individual drippers are joined using short sections of Blumat 3 mm drip tube, creating a dripper chain whose watering points can be positioned around the plant’s root zone.
Correct positioning and connection
Blumat recommends using tube sections approximately 20 cm long between distribution drippers. The first distribution dripper should be positioned approximately 8 cm from the Tropf-Blumat. A Blumat End Distribution Dripper is used to finish the chain. Set the Tropf-Blumat as normal before connecting the distribution drippers.
Keeping drip points clear of the growing medium
A Blumat Support can be used to hold the distribution dripper in position and help prevent roots from growing into it. The black screw on the dripper is not intended for normal adjustment. It can be completely removed for cleaning once a year or whenever required.
