Genetics of Watermelon: A Descendant of Watermelon OG S1

Where does the Watermelon strain come from? Breeders at Royal Queen Seeds started out with Watermelon OG S1. After tinkering for some time, they managed to achieve their own unique spin on this prized variety. The result? An even tastier cultivar that provides one of the fruitiest profiles in our entire catalogue.

Aroma, Flavour, and Effects of the Watermelon Strain

Brace yourself for several hours of couch-lock, increased appetite, and muscle-melting joy after firing up a blunt or bong bowl loaded with these flowers. These frosty buds churn out high volumes of resin containing a THC level of 22% and terpenes that taste like—you guessed it—watermelon. Clear your schedule for the evening, invite your smoking buddies over, and get ready for some relaxation and deep chats. If you’re a budding cannabis chef, make sure to include these flowers in sweet recipes to add a fruity kick.

Growing Characteristics of Watermelon Cannabis Seeds

Watermelon feminized cannabis seeds perform well in both grow tents and out in the garden. Indoor plants reach heights of 80–130cm and produce a respectable 450–500g/m² after a flowering period of 7–8 weeks. Employ techniques such as LST to restrict plant growth while boosting productivity. Grown outdoors, plants reach heights of up to 200cm and offer a return of 400–500g/plant ready to harvest in October.

Cannabis seeds are sold for collection and genetic preservation. Check the law in your country before germinating them.
