Tangie does not build its identity through weight, but through clarity. Its background in California Orange and a sativa leaning Skunk direction already points to a variety that feels brighter, more open, and far more citrus driven than heavier Kush or Cookie lines. It is not a strain built around density and pressure, but around freshness, height, and a very distinct aromatic line.

In growth, it develops into a longer and more mobile plant rather than a compact one. It tends to use both vertical and lateral space, which means it usually asks for a bit more guidance in smaller setups than tighter hybrids do. Even so, it does not feel disorderly, but more like a variety whose structure naturally follows its genetics.

BSF Seeds lists Tangie at around 9 to 10 weeks of flowering, about 20 percent THC, roughly 500 to 600 grams per square meter indoors, and around 500 to 700 grams per plant outdoors. With a 70 percent sativa share, the direction is clear. This is not a short, compact standard strain, but a photoperiod line with a broader frame and a correspondingly citrus focused profile.

Aromatically, the variety stays very close to mandarin and other bright citrus notes. It does not come across as artificially sweet or overly polished, but as direct, juicy, and clearly shaped. That is also what makes Tangie easy to recognise, since the profile does not try to be unusually layered and instead stays firmly within its own lane.

Depending on the individual plant, the final balance can shift slightly between height, openness, and the emphasis on mandarin versus more general citrus notes. Some phenotypes come across a little leaner and airier, while others finish with a slightly tidier frame. Even so, the core identity remains strong enough that the variety never drifts into something generic.
