Haze Special by KC Brains Holland

Haze Special by KC Brains Holland is a distinctive sativa leaning reference line with a clear catalogue identity. According to the breeder, it is based on a stable cross between Nevil’s Haze and K.C. 606. Within the KC Brains range, Haze Special therefore stands less for a generic standard strain and more for a deliberately built Haze line with its own breeding signature and traceable logic.

In growth, Haze Special clearly belongs to the sativa leaning direction. At the same time, KC Brains does not frame it as a narrow niche specialist, but as a variety that is especially intended for indoor cultivation while still performing very well outdoors. That dual role gives Haze Special the profile of a functional KC Brains selection built on a Haze foundation rather than a simple name variant.

According to breeder data, flowering takes around 12 to 14 weeks. KC Brains explicitly highlights that Haze Special is considered one of the shortest flowering options among the better known sativa leaning lines. That point is exactly what makes the cultivar relevant within older Haze categories.

Haze Special is defined by the connection between Nevil’s Haze and K.C. 606, and by its character as a relatively fast finishing Haze line. The fact that KC Brains also presents it as a Cup Winner further reinforces its role as an older reference cultivar in the catalogue.

As with many older Haze lines, some phenotypic variation should be expected in Haze Special. Differences in stretch, branching, and flower expression are not unusual. Even so, the overall identity remains clear: a mostly sativa KC Brains line with a Haze foundation, its own catalogue logic, and a notably short flowering window for its segment.
