Gelato 242

Popis

Gelato 242 by Medical Seeds

Gelato 242 by Medical Seeds brings Gelato 41 x Dosidos into a feminized US hybrid line listed at 60 percent indica and 40 percent sativa. The plant body stands out: robust, pyramidal, with enough upward build and a flower structure that is not buried in excess leaf.

The good calyx to leaf ratio is more than a small visual note. Outdoors, less unnecessary leaf mass can help keep the flowers more readable and prevent the plant from becoming too closed. Gelato 242 is therefore not only about color, but also about a structure that makes sense once flowering fills in.

Indoors, flowering takes around 65 to 70 days, with yields listed at about 450 g per m². Outdoors, the plant reaches roughly 1.70 to 2.00 m in height, with more than 500 g per plant and a mid to late October harvest window. This is not an early quick finisher, but a variety with a little more time demand and enough body for a strong late phase.

The color element does not feel forced. Medical Seeds describes buds with purple, red and pink tones, which fits the Gelato and Dosidos background. When temperature, phenotype and ripening line up, this variety can show more visually than a plain green standard hybrid.

The profile combines sweet, creamy Gelato notes with the denser Dosidos side and a light menthol direction. Gelato 242 is defined by its US genetics, pyramidal growth, colored flowers and a creamy sweet profile with a slightly cooler edge.
