Fruity Durban

Popis

Fruity Durban by Serious Seeds

Fruity Durban by Serious Seeds is a mostly sativa F1 hybrid made from African Durban Poison and a selected Mimosa. Its role in the Serious Seeds catalogue is very clear: fast flowering, strong plant vigour, heavy trichome expression and a sativa structure that does not need a long flowering window to show its shape.

The early stage can look a little restrained, mainly because the Mimosa side does not push upward immediately. Young Fruity Durban plants should not be shaded by faster neighbours. Once flowering starts, the line changes pace quickly, showing early pistils, fast bud formation and the kind of F1 momentum that becomes more visible as the plant moves into bloom.

Indoors, the listed flowering time is around 6 weeks, with a recommended vegetative phase of 3 to 4 weeks. The flowers build into long, broad cat-tail forms with very little leaf and early cloudy trichome development. Serious Seeds lists the indoor yield range at 350 to 500 g/m².

Outdoors, Fruity Durban brings another important trait: strong resistance against mildew and fungal pressure. Harvest is usually placed between mid September and early October. Even seeds started later in the season can still produce plants above 2 metres under suitable conditions, so basic support is sensible once the frame and flower weight begin to build.

The aromatic profile changes with maturity. Earlier harvest windows show more of the Mimosa side, with fruity citrus, lemon and mandarin notes, while later maturity brings the Durban character further forward. With 18 to 20% THC and no listed CBD, Fruity Durban stands as a fast, resin-rich and resilient Serious Seeds sativa line with a very specific practical identity.
