Athena Blended Starter Kit – stage-specific nutrition from growth to flowering
The Athena Blended Starter Kit contains 8 × 946 ml bottles, combining mineral liquid nutrients for vegetative growth and flowering with nutritional supplements and water conditioners. It suits beginners and experienced growers who want to tailor their feeding programme to each growth stage. The kit can be used with soil, coco and rockwool, as well as in hydroponic systems.
Separate base nutrient pairs for growth and flowering
Athena Grow A and Grow B provide the base nutrition during vegetative growth. During flowering, Athena Bloom A and Bloom B take over. Each two-part formula supplies macronutrients and micronutrients for its intended stage. Always use equal volumes of the matching A and B components to maintain the intended nutrient ratios.
Adjust nutrient supply with CaMg and PK
The base nutrients already contain calcium and magnesium. Athena CaMg supplements these nutrients when additional supply is needed, for example when using reverse osmosis water or growing in coco and rockwool. It also supplies iron and nitrogen. Athena PK complements the Bloom nutrients during mid-to-late flowering, adding phosphorus and potassium without additional nitrogen. Both supplements can be dosed independently of the base nutrients.
Condition source water and maintain irrigation lines
Athena Balance contains potassium silicate, raises pH and helps buffer reverse osmosis water. It is not a pH-down product. Athena Cleanse is based on hypochlorous acid and helps reduce mineral deposits in irrigation lines. When using automated dosing equipment, check the system type: liquid Balance is not intended for Venturi-based dosing systems.
Mix gradually and check the finished solution
Follow the Athena Blended feed schedule, taking your source water and the plants’ growth stage into account. When required, add Balance to the water first. Add the remaining components separately, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Never combine the products as undiluted concentrates.
Once everything has been mixed, check pH with a pH meter for nutrient solutions and electrical conductivity with an EC meter. These readings allow you to make any necessary adjustments based on measurements.
