Thai A5 Haze by ACE Seeds is a feminized variety for growers looking for an almost pure sativa hybrid with classic Haze depth and a clearly refined Thai direction. Within the ACE catalogue, it holds a special place because it combines a high quality Thai from the Golden Triangle with Neville’s A5 Haze, resulting in a line that shifts the raw heaviness of A5 into a much clearer, brighter, and more elegant sativa expression.

In cultivation, Thai A5 Haze shows a vigorous, strongly branched, and clearly tropical sativa structure with very good lateral productivity and strong response to pruning and training. The line is aimed at growers who can provide enough space, light, and deliberate plant management in exchange for a genetically very expressive Haze/Thai line. Indoors, it is particularly well suited to SCROG, horizontal, and net-based systems because its side branching can be used very efficiently.

One of the defining traits of Thai A5 Haze is its balance between tropical sativa expression and improved technical cultivation value. The variety shows high resistance to botrytis, high heat tolerance, average-high cold tolerance, and average-high to high resistance levels against spider mites, powdery mildew, and white fly. It is recommended for latitudes from 0º to 43º and is especially suitable for tropical, subtropical, and warm coastal climates with mild autumn conditions.

Aromatically, the line shows an unusually broad range. Some plants preserve the darker, older A5 Haze notes of leather, incense, hashish, and organically aged floral tones. Other phenotypes move in a much fruitier direction, suggestive of peach and apricot juice, creamy sweetness, floral and musky Thai tones, and refined incense nuances. It is precisely this contrast that gives Thai A5 Haze such a distinctive place within the ACE range.

The terpene profile is equally distinctive. Very high levels of beta-myrcene stand out most clearly, supported by phenotype-dependent variation in terpinolene, together with trans-ocimene, alpha-pinene, and smaller amounts of beta-pinene, limonene, and linalool. In the sesquiterpene fraction, beta-caryophyllene and alpha-humulene can be more or less pronounced depending on the phenotype. Combined with its clearer, more euphoric, and less dark sativa effect profile, this creates a line that occupies a clearly individual position within ACE’s A5 Haze projects.
