S.A.D. CBD

Description

S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious CBD by Sweet Seeds

With S.A.D. Sweet Afgani Delicious CBD, the darker Afghan center of the line stays intact, but it is not simply relabeled as a CBD version. Sweet Seeds combines the familiar Black Domina ’98 background with a CBD-rich clone from the Diesel family. That shifts the variety not only chemically, but also in its overall build, moving it a step away from the tightly closed old Afghan line toward a broader expression.

Sweet Seeds lists S.A.D. CBD as 60% indica and 40% sativa, with 5-11% THC and 10-16% CBD at a ratio ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. Flowering takes approximately 8-9 weeks, with yields of 400-550 g/m² indoors and 375-600 g per plant outdoors.

In plant structure, this version does not stay as tight and compressed as the classic S.A.D. The main bud remains important, but the frame opens a bit more. Sweet Seeds describes a large central cola, explosive flowering, and strong hybrid vigor. That creates a plant that is not loose or overly stretched, but also not quite as compactly Afghan in shape as the original S1 line.

The expression still holds the musky, denser side of the S.A.D. family, but there is extra complexity from the Diesel influence. The overall picture stays dark, dense, and fairly heavy underneath, without drifting into modern candy logic or bright fruit. That is where the link back to the original line remains most visible.

This version reads most clearly where the familiar S.A.D. substance stays in place, the frame opens a little more, and the CBD axis moves forward as the defining shift. That keeps it from feeling like a simple repetition of S.A.D. and gives it a separate place as a branch built from the same stock but with a different center of gravity.
