Russian Auto

Description

Russian Automatic by Exotic Seed

Russian Automatic by Exotic Seed is an auto that does not need too much handling. The strain comes from a repeated cross of AK 47 and Skunk Auto and was worked forward to the F6 generation. That does not read like a quick side project, but like a line selected for stability and even plant structure.

The plant tends to move upward rather than spread wide. Exotic Seed describes a columnar structure that can support the weight of its flowers. For that reason, heavy training is not the best fit here. Light clearing, enough air through the middle and a clean stance make more sense than late bending or unnecessary stress.

At 11 weeks, Russian Automatic runs longer than many other autos in the range. In return, it brings more frame and does not stay in the quick small plant category. The yield is listed at 450 to 500 g per m², which fits the supportive central axis and the more upright build.

AK 47 and Skunk Auto give the strain a classic, rather spicy and lightly fruity base. There is no need to dress that up too much. Russian Automatic works better when read as a robust auto with old school genetics behind it, not as a sweet novelty or loud trend cross.

In practice, the main point is that the plant can carry its weight. Forcing it too flat works against its natural build. A calm run with light on the main axis, open gaps through the structure and enough stability into the finish is the cleaner way to handle it.
