Description
Red Hot Cookies by Sweet Seeds
Red Hot Cookies does not build itself around a heavy Kush center. Its core comes from the meeting point between Tropicanna Cookies and Tangie. That gives the variety a brighter, more tensioned US line with a clear fruit axis and a portion of plants that develop red to purple tones late in flower.
Growth moves into a medium to larger frame with a noticeable sativa leaning pull. The main stem rises cleanly, the side branches contribute well, and the plant carries itself with an open, supportive shape. The leaf structure stays slimmer than in tighter, blockier Cookies types. Indoors it benefits from proper guidance so height and lateral push stay in balance. Outdoors it can build much more body in settled conditions.
Sweet Seeds lists about 8 weeks of flowering. Indoor yield is given at roughly 500 to 600 g/m², with outdoor production around 400 to 600 g per plant. THC is listed at about 17 to 25%, while CBD stays low. Around 60% of the plants can show red to violet coloration in the flowers and leaves.
The aromatic side opens clearly on citrus fruit. Mandarin and mango carry the first impression, but there is still enough depth from the Cookies side to stop it from turning thin or candy-like. The sweetness is obvious, though it stays tied to fruit flesh, peel, and warmer lower notes instead of flattening into simple sugar.
Red Hot Cookies is defined by its open, sativa-led structure, tropical fruit profile and red colour expression, which appears in approximately 60% of the plants. The strain received 3rd Prize in the Outdoor category at the 2023 HomeGrown Cup in the Netherlands.
