Prepare used soil for the vegetative growth phase

Plantheon RE-AMEND is a soil improver combining organic and mineral ingredients for growing media and naturally established soils. It is used to refresh soil after a completed growing cycle and prepare it for the next vegetative growth phase. The amendment is intended for growers maintaining Living Soil and reusable growing media in beds or larger containers. Depending on your growing system, it can be applied as a top dress or lightly incorporated using a low-till method.

Targeted supplementation for reusable growing media

RE-AMEND combines organic and mineral components to supplement existing soil after a growing cycle. Its focus is supporting a stable root-zone environment during vegetative growth. This makes it particularly relevant to regenerative growing systems in which the same growing medium is maintained and reused over several cycles. RE-AMEND is a soil improver rather than a complete growing medium.

Top dressing and low-till application

For top dressing, first spread half of the intended amount evenly across the surface of the growing medium and water it in. After approximately two weeks, apply the second half in the same way and water again. Alternatively, RE-AMEND can be worked lightly into the upper soil layer before watering. This low-till approach only disturbs the surface area, helping to preserve as much of the existing soil structure as possible.

Choose the pack size for your soil volume

Plantheon RE-AMEND is available in 60 g and 240 g packs. The stated application for the 240 g pack covers up to 1 m² of bed surface or can be mixed into 50 litres of growing medium. You can therefore select the pack size according to the area or soil volume you intend to treat. For a large, continuous and reusable soil volume, a Living Soil Bed for grow tents provides a suitable container.
