Osram Vialox, HPS lights 600W

Description

Osram Vialox 600W for high-intensity flowering applications

The Osram Vialox 600W is a high-pressure sodium lamp from the NAV-T SUPER 4Y range. With a colour temperature of 2,000 K, it produces a warm light with a strong red and yellow component, making it particularly suitable for the flowering and fruiting stage of indoor crops. Its 90,000 lumen output provides intense illumination for larger growing areas when combined with a suitable reflector and appropriate mounting distance.

Warm spectrum for flowering plants

The characteristic warm spectrum of the Osram Vialox is suited to applications where a high proportion of yellow and red light is required. In horticultural lighting, this makes the 600 W version primarily suitable for the generative stage. Other lamp outputs and alternatives can be found in the grow lighting range.

90,000 lumens with high luminous efficacy

The lamp produces a luminous flux of 90,000 lumens and has a manufacturer-specified luminous efficacy of 146 lm/W. Its clear tubular outer bulb uses an E40 base and is intended for compatible luminaires and reflectors. A suitable ballast and ignitor are required for operation.

Designed for compatible 600 W HPS systems

The Vialox operates at a lamp voltage of 110 V with a nominal current of 6.06 A. According to the manufacturer, it can be dimmed with suitable conventional or electronic control gear. When replacing an older NAV lamp in an existing installation, the compatibility of the installed ignitor should also be checked before use.
