Description
Netafim Juniortropfer PCJ – Consistent 4.0 l/h Drip Irrigation for Individual Plants
The Netafim Juniortropfer PCJ 4.0 l/h is a compact, pressure-compensating drip emitter designed to deliver water and nutrient solution directly to individual plants. Suitable for greenhouses, indoor growing areas and garden irrigation systems, it provides a reliable way to distribute water across multiple growing positions. Its pressure-compensating mechanism maintains a consistent flow within the specified operating pressure range, helping you achieve more uniform irrigation throughout your setup.
Pressure Compensation for Consistent Water Delivery
Operating within a pressure range of 0.5–4.0 bar, the PCJ Junior dripper delivers 4.0 litres of water per hour. Its internal pressure-compensating mechanism helps maintain this flow despite differences in pressure along the irrigation line. This is particularly useful when watering several plants or working with longer distribution pipes. Individual emitters can be positioned wherever they are required, allowing the irrigation layout to be adapted or extended.
Self-Flushing Design and Durable Construction
The dripper incorporates Netafim’s TurboNet labyrinth, featuring wide internal water passages designed to reduce clogging. Continuous self-flushing helps carry debris through the emitter during operation. The construction offers resistance to UV exposure and commonly used agricultural nutrients. For dependable operation, Netafim recommends filtration to 130 microns, equivalent to 120 mesh.
Flexible Installation in Drip Irrigation Systems
The PCJ dripper is designed for insertion into suitable PE distribution pipes. Its straight 3 mm barb outlet connects to compatible micro tubing, allowing water to be directed towards individual plants. You can build a distribution network using suitable 16 mm PE irrigation pipe, provided the pipe wall and installation dimensions are appropriate.
For fitting multiple emitters, the Netafim PCJ Junior dripper installation tool allows insertion into compatible 16 mm and 20 mm LDPE pipes without separate hole punching. Further fittings and irrigation components are available in our capillary irrigation range.
Choose a single dripper for repairs or small extensions, or a pack of 250 for installing larger irrigation networks.
