Luxumol 600W digital ballast – four output settings for your grow lighting

The Luxumol 600W digital ballast powers compatible grow lamps and lets you select their operating output directly on the unit. Suitable for beginners and experienced indoor growers, it offers four output settings for different operating requirements. Its passive cooling design works without a built-in fan.

Select the right output for your lamp

The available settings are 250, 400, 600 and 660 W. The 600 W setting corresponds to the rated power, while the 660 W Superlumen setting operates above it. This gives you reduced-output options alongside the standard setting and an additional higher-output mode.

The settings you can use depend on the connected lamp. Having four options does not mean that every lamp can operate safely at every setting. Always follow the permitted dimming and operating settings for your particular lamp and ballast combination.

Passive cooling with anti-vibration feet

Heat is dissipated passively, avoiding the noise associated with a built-in cooling fan. Anti-vibration feet complement the quiet design and help reduce vibration transfer to the surface supporting the ballast.

Passive cooling still requires heat to escape freely. Keep the unit uncovered and allow for adequate grow room ventilation when planning your installation.

Mains supply and installation preparation

The ballast is designed for an input voltage of 220–240 V. When choosing grow lighting accessories, check that the connections and electrical ratings suit your installation. Matching the lamp wattage alone does not establish compatibility.

Disconnect the installation completely from the mains and allow the components to cool before working on the lamp or wiring. Keep the ballast away from liquids and combustible materials.
