Description
Lemon Candy by Exotic Seed
Lemon Candy by Exotic Seed is not a simple sweet fruit line. The strain comes from American Indica and NYCD and, at 45 percent indica and 55 percent sativa, stays slightly on the sativa leaning side. That mix gives it a firm plant body, but with more reach and freshness than a heavy indica cross.
The flowering time is listed at 8 weeks, with Exotic Seed giving October as the outdoor harvest window. For a strain with NYCD influence, that is quite direct. The yield is listed at 450 to 500 g per m², while the breeder itself frames it more as a medium producing plant with a strong structure.
One point should not be overlooked with Lemon Candy: Exotic Seed notes sensitivity to light stress. Strong changes in light or rough handling can slow flower formation. Clean conditions, calm handling and avoiding unnecessary experiments make more sense here than correcting things late.
In structure, Lemon Candy can work with a stable and well branched frame. A light SCROG approach can fit if the plant is brought into the area early enough. The more important point is even light and keeping the plant from falling out of rhythm through stress.
The aromatic side comes clearly from the NYCD corner: citrus, some sweetness and later light Skunk notes. Lemon Candy is a short flowering, sativa leaning Diesel cross with a stable build and a cultivation note that should be taken seriously.
