Description
Jack 47 by Sweet Seeds
Jack 47 carries a lot of forward drive in the way it grows and does not rely on compression, but on reach, resin, and a clearly sativa leaning frame. The cross of Jack Herer and AK 47 does not turn into a narrow Haze type here. Instead, it becomes a strong photoperiod cultivar with visible movement through the structure and a clearly productive orientation.
In growth, it develops a medium to larger plant body with good lateral branching and enough length in the framework to spread later flower mass cleanly. The canopy stays open enough to take light and air well, yet it never feels loose. That combination of reach and support gives the cultivar its own rhythm and separates it from the more compressed Sweet Seeds hybrids.
Sweet Seeds lists the genetic balance at around 25 percent indica and 75 percent sativa. Flowering runs for about 9.5 weeks. Indoor yield is given at roughly 500 to 600 g per m², while outdoor production is presented as high rather than narrowly fixed. THC is listed at around 18 to 24 percent, with CBD near 1.6 percent.
The aroma comes in brighter than that of many heavier hybrids. Citrus sits clearly in front, followed by orange, mango, and a sweet fruit line that gives the scent more body. At the same time, enough spice and freshness remain underneath to stop it from turning into a simple juicy profile. The result stays clear, lively, and well defined.
What matters most here is the fit between long plant movement, strong trichome production, and that fresh fruit led signature. Jack 47 therefore feels neither old fashioned nor generically modern, but like a cultivar with a clear sativa leaning identity and reliable flower output.
Jack 47 received first place in the Outdoor category at the I Copa Córdoba Verano in Argentina in 2011 and first place for Best Indoor at the summer edition of the Cannabis Canarias Cup. Further results included second place for Best Outdoor at the 2013 Cannabis Canarias Cup, third place Outdoor at the I Copa del Rey in Bogotá in 2015 and third place in the Sativa category at the II Copa el Copo in Medellín in 2017.
