Description
El Alquimista by Samsara Seeds
El Alquimista sits among the more clearly shaped lines in the Samsara range. Northern Light and AK 47 do not produce some vague blend here, but a variety with a fairly readable frame. It leans strongly to the indica side without coming across as broad, dull or shapeless. It reads more like a plant built to move through its cycle with purpose while keeping its attention on yield and solid flower production.
At 50 to 55 days, it falls on the quicker side. That makes it more interesting as a feminized line when a long flowering run is not the goal. Outdoors the timing is also relatively early, with Samsara listing late September. That suits a genotype that is not about stretching the season, but about getting through it in a fairly direct way.
Samsara does not position it as a small producer. The breeder lists around 440 g per m² indoors and up to 700 g per plant outdoors. Numbers like that always depend on light, pot size, climate and general handling, but the direction is clear enough. El Alquimista is meant to finish early while still carrying real weight.
Aromatically it stays on the sweet fruit side. In this case that does not read as flashy or sugary, but more as dense and full. Together with the clearly indica led frame, it gives the line a profile that does not need hype or novelty language. It works more through its readable structure, its short finish and the straightforward logic behind the cross.
From plant to plant, the expression may stay tighter or open up a little. Even so, El Alquimista remains easy to place and comes across more like an older, solid Samsara variety with a defined direction than like an inflated catalog label.
