Description
Double Fire Headband by Humboldt Seed Organization
Double Fire Headband is one of those Humboldt lines where the name can easily sound louder than the plant itself. The cross of Fire OG BX3, Blueberry Headband and III Kings OG already has real substance. It is a feminized, slightly indica leaning variety with plenty of OG background and a clear berry Headband trace.
Indoors, it usually stays below 120 cm, which makes it more controllable than some of the larger Humboldt varieties. That does not mean it should be read as a small plant. It builds firmly, carries compact resinous flowers and benefits when the side structure receives light early enough. Too much crowding in the plant takes away air rather than adding strength.
Flowering is listed at 8 to 9 weeks. Indoor yield is given at 550 to 600 grams per square metre, while outdoor plants can reach up to around 1000 grams per plant under suitable conditions. Outdoors, Double Fire Headband can move beyond roughly 220 cm and is usually placed around mid October for harvest.
With 60 percent indica and 40 percent sativa, the variety stays slightly on the denser side without becoming fully squat. THC is listed at around 23 percent, with CBD very low. For cultivation, the important part is the mix of a more compact indoor frame, strong flower formation and OG weight, because late moisture in dense areas should not be ignored.
The profile moves through sweet sour berries, diesel, gas, earth and spicy OG depth. Some plants may show more of the Blueberry Headband side, while others pull more Fire OG sharpness or III Kings OG body. That shift is part of the line and makes it less neatly predictable.
