Bluelab EC Cleaning and Calibration Kit for reliable conductivity measurements

The Bluelab EC Cleaning and Calibration Kit is a compact maintenance kit for Bluelab conductivity probes and EC meters. It provides the essential items required to remove deposits from the sensor surface and then check probe performance using a known 2.77 EC reference solution. It is useful for routine maintenance as well as troubleshooting EC or ppm readings that appear unusual or fail to stabilise.

Keep the sensor surface clean for dependable EC readings

During regular use in nutrient solutions, salts, mineral residue and organic deposits can gradually build up on a conductivity probe. This coating may interfere with contact between the sensor and the solution, affecting measurement performance. The supplied Bluelab Conductivity Probe Cleaner is applied directly to the probe face and used with the included cleaning cloth. The probe is then rinsed thoroughly with clean water.

2.77 EC reference solution for checking probe performance

After cleaning, you can check the probe using the supplied Bluelab 2.77 EC Conductivity Standard Solution. The kit contains two individually packed 18 ml sachets, helping to reduce the risk of contaminating a larger bottle of reference solution through repeated use. Regular cleaning is particularly useful when readings fluctuate, appear lower than expected or take longer than usual to stabilise.

A practical kit for routine EC probe care

Alongside the cleaner and reference solution, the kit includes a plastic cup, cleaning cloth and probe care instructions. This keeps the essential components for maintaining your Bluelab conductivity probe together in one package. Bluelab recommends regular cleaning of frequently used EC probes to remove deposits from the sensor surfaces. The included Conductivity Probe Cleaner is not compatible with the Bluelab OnePen or OnePen Replacement Probe.
