Black Dream

Description

Black Dream by Eva Female Seeds

Black Dream is best understood as a fast, practical hybrid for even plant layouts, a strong central flower and side branches that carry real weight. It does not rely only on one dominant main cola, but builds a compact upper frame with several productive lateral branches. That makes it useful where a grower wants a manageable plant, a quick finish and dense flower formation rather than a long late season run.

Eva Female Seeds lists the variety as a cross of Jamaican Dream and Black Domina. Jamaican Dream brings speed and vigorous development into the line, while Black Domina adds more density, compact flower structure and body to the plant. The result is a balanced hybrid that is not defined by excessive height, but by a sturdy frame, good filling and a clear central structure.

Indoors, the flowering time is around 45 to 55 days. The plants can be grown in soil, coco or hydro systems and fit well into controlled layouts when spacing and airflow are handled properly. Because the flowers can become compact, the canopy should stay open enough for air to move through the plant. Training and pruning can be useful, but the variety should not be pushed into stagnant, humid conditions.

Outdoors, Black Dream makes the most sense in temperate, Mediterranean or protected locations. A greenhouse, warm garden position or airy outdoor spot suits it better than a wet late autumn site, because its tolerance to moisture is limited. For that reason, the key decision is not only yield or speed, but whether the location gives the plant enough air, warmth and a finish before difficult weather becomes dominant.

The aroma leans toward fruit with spicy and slightly woody depth, without moving into a purely dessert style. Its awards at the 2016 Mountain Tasting Cup in the outdoor category and the 2018 Cannaval Cup in the BHO category can be mentioned as part of the variety history, but they should not carry the whole description. Properly framed, Black Dream is a quick, compact Eva Seeds hybrid for protected outdoor spots, controlled indoor spaces and growers who want flower weight with a plant that remains readable in the room.
