BioTabs Silicium Flash – organic nutrients and silicon delivered through your growing medium

BioTabs Silicium Flash is an organic fertiliser and soil improver for soil and coco. It combines readily available nutrients with a longer-lasting release. This makes it suitable for growers who prefer to feed through the growing medium rather than measure out this additive every time they water.

Silicon and organic nutrients with NPK 4-3-3

The blend is based mainly on insect manure and contains a readily available silicon source, alongside chitin, calcium, magnesium and trace elements. Its NPK ratio of 4-3-3 describes the main nutrients nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Silicon can help support plant cell structure. A portion of the nutrients becomes available quickly, while the remainder is released gradually over approximately two months.

How to apply and dose Silicium Flash

Thoroughly mix 75 g per 10 litres of substrate into your growing medium before filling the pots. This is equivalent to 7.5 g per litre. For the BioTabs programme, use an organic light-mix or a lightly fertilised organic growing medium rather than a heavily fertilised all-mix.

For targeted supplementary feeding when a nutrient deficiency occurs, place 25 g of Silicium Flash in a small hole near the plant stem and cover it with soil. Then water with a solution containing 1 g of BioTabs Bactrex per litre of water.

Using Silicium Flash within the BioTabs feeding programme

The BioTabs system combines Silicium Flash with products including BioTabs Startrex, Mycotrex, Bactrex and BioTabs fertiliser tablets. It therefore does not replace the entire feeding programme. Coordinate any further applications with the relevant feeding schedule.

1250 g or 4500 g: coverage for your growing medium

At the base application rate of 7.5 g per litre, 1250 g provides a calculated coverage of approximately 167 litres of substrate. The 4500 g pack covers 600 litres. These figures do not include any additional applications for supplementary feeding.
