Description
Biochar + Microbes – Biochar with Active Microorganisms for Soil & Coco
Biochar + Microbes combines high-quality plant-based charcoal from birch and spruce wood with beneficial microorganisms
(including mycorrhiza). The highly porous structure of the biochar provides a large surface area where nutrients
are stored and later released to the roots as needed. This promotes a stable soil life, improves substrate structure,
and supports consistent plant growth – both in soil and coco substrates.
Application & Dosage
- Thoroughly mix into the substrate before planting.
- Recommended mixing ratio: 1 part Biochar + Microbes : 10 parts substrate (e.g. 5 L per 50 L).
- Suitable for soil and coco.
- Due to its alkalinity (approx. pH 10), the product can buffer acidic substrates; check pH after mixing.
Properties & Composition
- Raw material: biochar from birch and spruce, with active microbes/mycorrhiza.
- Quality standards: compliant with EBC and PEFC certifications.
- Mode of action: nutrient storage & buffering – binds nutrients on its surface and releases them slowly; boosts the activity of beneficial soil organisms.
- Packaging sizes: 2 L and 5 L.
