AutoPot AQUAvalve5 Top Float Silicones – replacement seal for correct valve operation

The AutoPot AQUAvalve5 Top Float Silicone is a replacement part for the upper float assembly of the AQUAvalve5. This small silicone seal closes an opening in the valve body and therefore plays an important role in the automatic float-control mechanism. If the existing silicone becomes worn, it can be replaced individually without changing the complete AutoPot AQUAvalve5.

Correct sealing of the upper float

During operation, the silicone must sit flat over the designated opening and form a tight seal. AutoPot recommends checking after installation that the silicone is sitting parallel to the opening beneath it. Correct positioning supports the AQUAvalve5 operating sequence as the tray fills, the water supply closes and the next watering cycle begins.

Designed for routine maintenance and replacement

As the silicone seal can wear over time, it is worth inspecting it during routine valve maintenance and replacing it when necessary. When cleaning the AQUAvalve5, the silicone should be removed and only refitted once the valve is completely dry. The upper and bottom floats use different silicone parts. The matching bottom float silicone and further AutoPot accessories and spare parts are available separately.
