ADWA replacement probe for AD31 EC meter – replace the probe, keep your meter

The AD32P lets you replace the probe on your ADWA AD31 conductivity meter without replacing the whole instrument. This original spare part also fits the AD32 and suits growers who use their existing meter to check water and nutrient solutions.

Conductivity and temperature from one probe

The probe measures electrical conductivity and incorporates a temperature sensor. The connected meter uses the temperature data for automatic temperature compensation. It also calculates a TDS value from conductivity as a measure of dissolved solids. The AD32P is not a pH electrode and requires a compatible meter to operate.

Replace the probe, then recalibrate

Undo the threaded probe housing, fit the replacement probe and carefully tighten the housing again. Correct assembly is important to maintain the meter’s watertight seal.

After replacing the probe, calibrate your AD31 using a 1413 µS/cm EC calibration solution. This is equivalent to 1.413 mS/cm. pH buffer solutions are not suitable for this process. When fitted to an AD32, the required EC calibration value is 12.88 mS/cm instead.
