The ADWA EC Meter Set AD31 + Accessories combines the waterproof AD31 pocket tester with suitable solutions for calibration and electrode cleaning. The meter measures the electrical conductivity of nutrient or irrigation solutions, can display the result as TDS in ppm and also monitors temperature. It is well suited to growers who regularly check nutrient solutions and want the essential calibration and cleaning products supplied together with the meter.

EC and TDS measurement with temperature compensation

The ADWA AD31 measures conductivity from 0–3999 µS/cm and TDS from 0–2000 ppm. Resolution is 1 µS/cm or 1 ppm, making changes in a nutrient solution easy to follow. Automatic temperature compensation operates from 0.0–60.0 °C, while temperature is displayed with a resolution of 0.1 °C. The TDS conversion factor can be adjusted from 0.45–1.00. Other instruments for monitoring nutrient solutions are available in the EC meter range.

Calibration and cleaning included

The AD31 supports automatic one-point calibration. This set includes 300 ml of GIB Industries EC 1.4-Pro calibration solution at 1413 µS/cm, providing the appropriate EC reference solution for the meter. A 300 ml bottle of HCL-Pro cleaning solution is also included for routine electrode cleaning. Regular cleaning helps remove deposits that could otherwise interfere with measurement and calibration.

Replaceable probe and useful operating functions

The AD32P measuring probe fitted to the AD31 is replaceable, allowing the meter itself to remain in service when the probe eventually requires renewal. A compatible replacement probe for the AD31 is available separately. The hold function keeps the current reading on the display, while a stability indicator helps identify when the measurement has settled. The tester also provides a low-battery warning and switches itself off after eight minutes without operation.
