Sour G R1: lineage, growth and aroma profile

Sour G R1 by ETHOS Genetics is based on Jet Fuel Gelato x (Sour D x Marshmallow OG). As a feminized photoperiod line, it has a clear place within the ETHOS range. The stated parents or set components define its genetic starting point. As a photoperiod line, flowering begins in response to the light cycle.

Its growth is described as tall, with long internodal spacing. The official description highlights vigorous plant development. For the flowers, ETHOS describes large structures. Under suitable conditions, distinctive colours may appear as maturity approaches. These details make the structure of Sour G R1 concrete, placing space, branching and flower formation within one coherent growth pattern.

ETHOS states a flowering time of 63-70 days. The stated figure refers to the flowering phase of the photoperiod plant itself. ETHOS lists Indoor, Greenhouse and Outdoor as suitable environments. The breeder lists the line for beginners as well as for more experienced growers. Timing, environment and experience level together provide a concrete cultivation framework.

Its yield potential is described as high. This becomes meaningful for cultivar selection when read alongside height, flower structure and maturity. ETHOS therefore places it within the context of the other plant characteristics. Internodal spacing, space requirements and development time also belong in a comparison with other lines.

The profile described by ETHOS names Sweet Floral, Gasoline and Pine and Hints of Candy. These individual notes give the cultivar a recognisable aromatic direction without reducing its genetic and horticultural identity to a single label. In its broader aroma classification, ETHOS also lists Candied/Sweet, Floral, Gassy and Pine. The corresponding pack format contains 5 seeds. This gives Sour G R1 its own place in the ETHOS range: genetic background, plant structure and the stated aromas form a coherent cultivar profile.
