Milwaukee pH55 for quick pH and temperature checks of nutrient solutions
The Milwaukee pH55 pH/Temperature Pen is a waterproof digital handheld tester designed to measure pH and temperature in liquids. In indoor growing and hydroponic systems, it provides a convenient way to check irrigation water and nutrient solutions directly at the reservoir or mixing container. Automatic temperature compensation accounts for temperature changes during pH measurement, while the compact design makes the pH55 suitable for both routine grow-room checks and portable use.
Check pH and temperature at the same time
The pH55 measures from -2.0 to 16.0 pH with a resolution of 0.1 pH. Its temperature range extends from -5.0 to 60.0 °C. A large dual-level LCD keeps the readings easy to view, while a stability indicator shows when the measurement has settled. The hold function can freeze the displayed value for convenient recording. Automatic calibration and temperature compensation
Calibration is automatic at either one or two points. The meter stores two selectable buffer sets: pH 4.01, 7.01 and 10.01 or pH 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18. For routine two-point calibration, compatible options include Milwaukee pH 7.01 buffer solution and Milwaukee pH 4.01 buffer solution. Automatic temperature compensation operates across the full -5.0 to 60.0 °C temperature measuring range.
Waterproof design with a replaceable electrode
The Milwaukee pH55 has an IP65-rated housing. Its MI56P pH electrode uses a double-junction design and can be replaced when required, allowing the meter itself to remain in service when the electrode reaches the end of its usable life. An automatic switch-off function turns the tester off after eight minutes of inactivity to conserve battery power. Four LR44/A76 batteries provide approximately 300 hours of operation according to Milwaukee.
