Balanced moisture with air around the root zone
The bonded structure of each Eazy Plug is designed around a defined air-to-water ratio. Once thoroughly moistened, excess water can drain away while moisture remains evenly distributed through the plug. The tray should therefore never be left standing permanently in water. At the same time, the propagator helps reduce evaporation and retain the high relative humidity required by young seedlings and cuttings. Pre-buffered and pre-fertilised propagation medium
The square Eazy Plugs have predetermined pH and EC levels and are manufactured with a basic nutrient charge. According to the manufacturer’s current standard specification, the plugs have a pH of 5.9 and an EC of 1.0 mS/cm. Each plug measures 3.5 × 3.5 × 3.0 cm. Their bonded construction keeps the medium together when it is removed from the tray and transplanted, helping to minimise disturbance to delicate young roots.
From germination to the next growing medium
Before use, fully moisten the plugs and allow excess water to drain. Seeds or cuttings can then be placed into the prepared openings before the tray is positioned inside the propagator. Once the root system is sufficiently developed, the complete plug can be transplanted into the next growing medium. Eazy Plug is compatible with a wide range of media, including soil, coco, rockwool and perlite, as well as various hydroponic systems.
