Double Donny Burger by Growers Choice

Double Donny Burger does not stand out through polished surface appeal, but through pressure. The whole setup of the strain points in one direction: not playful, not light, but built for weight, a strong smell, and a compact, supportive run. That is why it reads more like a modern heavy line than a hype release carried only by a loud name.

The cross of GMO x Han Solo Burger explains that character well. Nothing here leans into a sweet dessert corner. Instead, the variety pulls into a harsher, gassier, and clearly more savoury direction. That edge makes it easier to place than many modern hybrids that sound strong on paper but end up smelling interchangeable in practice.

With only 8 weeks of bloom, the timing stays tight without making the strain feel like thin fast stock. On the contrary, Double Donny Burger reads like a plant that moves quickly while still carrying enough substance to keep the run from feeling hollow. Its structure stays more compact, which fits the denser and heavier direction of the variety overall.

It is also clearly positioned on the performance side in yield terms. At up to 750 g/m² indoors, with similarly strong outdoor framing, it does not belong in the delicate category. What matters less than the number itself is how that number reads: not through endless size, but through a plant that can build convincing weight within a tighter footprint.

Double Donny Burger therefore fits best in setups looking for a short, forceful, and high-odour hybrid that does not come across as softened or polished. What makes it memorable is not potency talk, but the way frame, cross, and aromatic edge come together in a strain that leaves a clear impression.
