C’99 by Female Seeds

C’99 by Female Seeds is a feminized sativa line that is not defined by a long flowering period or uncontrolled growth. Female Seeds works here with two selected C’99 phenotypes, one leaning toward Grapefruit and the well known Pineapple pheno. This keeps the strain fruit driven without making it generically sweet.

Indoors, C’99 shows a fairly manageable structure for a sativa. The plant grows vigorously, but usually stays around 80 to 100 cm inside. Stretch is present, but it does not run completely out of control when the plant is shaped early enough and the canopy is not closed too late.

The flowering time is around 8 weeks. Female Seeds describes dense, heavily frosted flowers with a more candle shaped main structure and smaller flower sites on the lower branches. That fits a strain with sativa character, but a much shorter and more compact working pattern than many long lines.

The profile is led by Grapefruit, Pineapple and very fruity citrus notes. This is where C’99 separates itself from Bubblegummer or Blueberry Cheesecake: less creamy, less bubblegum, and instead brighter, more tropical and clearly fruit focused.

Outdoors, C’99 can take on noticeably more height and stretch harder depending on the location. In temperate to warmer climates, it becomes interesting through air in the frame, good ripening behaviour and its early to mid autumn window rather than through pure compactness.
