Bubblegum x Fat Hog

Bubblegum x Fat HOG by Growers Choice

Bubblegum x Fat HOG is a feminized cross that does not simply lean on a familiar old line, but shifts its weak points in a deliberate way. Bubblegum brings the sweet core character and dense flower structure, while the HOG side adds more carrying power to the plant. That is exactly what keeps the variety from reading like a pure retro line and turns it into a more yield driven and body built version with a clear job to do.

In growth, the line stays compact to medium in size and clearly leans indica. That fits a strain that is not meant to be read through height or wild stretch, but through density, a solid frame, and a plant that builds its tops without much wasted movement. This is where the cross becomes practically readable, because the plant picture itself gets broader and more supportive rather than just the name changing.

With a flowering time of 8 weeks, the window stays tight. Added to that are 750+ g/m² indoors, which places the variety clearly on the performance minded side. More important than the number alone, though, is how it appears to get there: not through excessive spread, but through density, stable sides, and a central structure that can actually carry the weight.

In profile terms, Bubblegum remains clearly visible. The sweet candy like direction sits at the front, without making the strain feel flat or purely nostalgic. It reads more like a line that keeps the old Bubblegum core, but pulls it into a stronger and more productive form instead of merely copying it.

Bubblegum x Fat HOG therefore fits as a compact to medium hybrid line with a clear Bubblegum signature, a more productive frame, and a cross that genuinely shows in the plant body. That is what makes it more interesting than many familiar sounding names that do not actually add anything new in structure.
