Automatic irrigation for six plants without electricity

The AutoPot easy2grow 6 x 15L watering system automatically supplies up to six plants with water or nutrient solution. Three twin trays each accommodate two 15-litre pots and are supplied from the 47-litre reservoir through AQUAvalve5 units. The system works entirely by gravity, so there is no need for a pump, timer or permanent mains water connection. This makes it suitable for indoor grows as well as greenhouses, gardens and other growing areas where the reservoir can be positioned correctly.

AQUAvalve5 controlled watering cycles

Each of the three easy2grow trays has its own AQUAvalve5. These valves regulate the flow from the reservoir according to the water level inside the tray. Fresh water or nutrient solution is released after the previous supply has been taken up, creating AutoPot’s characteristic wet and dry cycle without requiring programmed irrigation intervals.

15-litre pots for additional root space

The six rectangular pots each provide 15 litres of growing volume, giving plants more substrate space than the smaller easy2grow pot option. AutoPot recommends freely draining growing media. Alongside suitable soil mixes, you can use appropriate coco growing substrates with suitable drainage amendments. Marix Discs inside the pots and PotSock Square root-control covers underneath the pots form part of the system setup.

Simple setup with room to expand

According to AutoPot, the six-plant configuration requires approximately 1.2 × 1.2 m of floor space, excluding the reservoir. The reservoir should be positioned at least 150 mm above the highest AQUAvalve to provide sufficient gravity pressure. Additional modules can be added later, although larger installations may require a larger reservoir.
