Appleberry

Appleberry by Sumo Seeds

Appleberry sits in the Sumo Seeds range as one of the cleaner combinations of fruit profile and production logic. The line is clearly indica leaning, but it does not come across as dull or heavy handed. Instead, it pairs dense flower mass with a fairly orderly and easy to manage plant structure.

The Dynalicious x White Widow Original base sets that direction clearly. What comes out of it is a variety with more compact, weighty flowers, solid resin coverage, and comparatively even expression. That steadier structure fits well in setups where an even canopy and a controllable run matter more than extreme stretch.

Flowering usually comes in at around 8 to 9.5 weeks. Indoors, Appleberry often stays near 110 to 130 cm, while outdoor plants usually reach around 140 to 180 cm. Yield comes to about 400 to 500 g/m² indoors and roughly 600 to 750 g per plant outdoors. Because the flowers tend to form more densely, airflow matters more here than with looser structured lines, especially near the end of ripening.

The aroma and flavour move clearly in a fruity, sweet, lightly floral direction. Apple and berry notes define the profile. That places the variety away from heavy Kush territory or purely spicy hybrids and gives it a more distinct fruit led identity.

Overall, Appleberry is a productive and fairly uniform fruit line with compact flower structure and a short to medium flowering window. The 1st place finish at the 2016 Highlife Cup in the Bio category fits that picture well, because the variety brings density, yield, and profile together in a coherent way.
