Super Malawi Haze by ACE Seeds

Super Malawi Haze by ACE Seeds is a feminized variety for growers looking for an exceptionally potent and highly productive Haze hybrid with a clear Malawi axis. Within the ACE catalogue, it holds a special position because it combines a Haze mother selected by Neville himself in the early 90s with a Malawi Killer, resulting in a line that brings together extreme vigour, huge colas, strong resin production, and clearly elevated performance density.

In cultivation, Super Malawi Haze shows a very vigorous, tall, and strongly branched sativa structure that requires space. The line is built around volume, vitality, and canopy performance, producing dense and resin rich flowers with a strong flower-to-leaf ratio. Despite its clear Haze/Malawi background, it remains somewhat more controlled than the wilder tropical sativas, which makes it more deliberately manageable when space, light, and plant management are in place.

With a flowering time of around 11 to 16 weeks, Super Malawi Haze belongs to the later finishing feminized sativa hybrids in the ACE programme. Yield is listed as very high. The stated THC range is around 23 to 28 percent, CBD below 0.15 percent, and CBG at 0 to 1.5 percent. The variety is recommended for latitudes from 0º to 43º and shows high heat tolerance, average-high cold tolerance, and average resistance against spider mites, powdery mildew, and white fly, together with high resistance to botrytis.

Another defining trait of the line is its phenotypic range. ACE describes three main expressions: a Neville’s Haze phenotype with enormous production, dense flower structure, and a classic sweet, floral, and incense-driven Haze profile; a Malawi phenotype with a golden-silvery maturation look and stronger oily, resinous, and woody notes; and a rare near-pure Haze phenotype with a wilder tropical structure, longer maturation, and a more old school Haze character.

Aromatically, Super Malawi Haze moves in a complex blend of sweet and floral notes, incense, wood, and resinous fermented undertones. In the terpene profile, high levels of beta-pinene dominate, supported by alpha-pinene, beta-myrcene, and limonene, together with smaller amounts of beta-ocimene, linalool, and other trace terpenes. In the sesquiterpene fraction, beta-caryophyllene and alpha-humulene stand out most clearly, supported by guaiol and smaller trace compounds.
