Special Queen #1 by Royal Queen Seeds

Special Queen #1 is not a delicate Skunk built around nuance. It earns its place through a simple usable frame, steady growth, and a structure that does not turn chaotic too quickly. Royal Queen Seeds lists it as Power Bud x Skunk with a straight 50% sativa and 50% indica split. That is exactly how the plant reads. No hard extreme in either direction, just an older practical Skunk line without much theatre.

In the grow, the important part is that it does not become needlessly demanding. RQS describes it as low maintenance, with a more moderate stretch. Indoors it sits at 80 to 140 cm, and outdoors at 200 to 270 cm. That makes sense for growers who want a clean run without constantly correcting a nervous plant. The side frame comes together well, the canopy can be managed without fuss, and according to RQS even shorter summers are still realistic for outdoor work.

Flowering takes 55 to 60 days, so it lands in a window that is not slow, but also not built as a rushed finisher. Special Queen #1 does not pile everything into one dominant top. It spreads flower sites across more of the plant. Royal Queen Seeds lists 500 to 550 g per m² indoors and 500 to 550 g per plant outdoors. Not some inflated monster story, more a solid filling out of the whole frame.

The profile brings skunk, earth, some spice, and a slight sweet edge. At up to 18% THC, the strain is not carried by exaggeration, but by how reliably it runs. That is really its role: straightforward Skunk genetics with workable height, clean structure, and enough substance to stand on its own.
